Our extra apricot jam is made from two varieties, Vitillo and the better-known Pellecchiella from the slopes of Vesuvius. According to some historical reconstructions it was even introduced by the ancient Greeks before the Romans. The name comes from its particularly easy to separate skin, the pulp on the other hand rich in natural sugars, very suitable for jams. In our case produced without any kind of thickener but only exclusively with fruit, sugar and lemon juice. Ideal for a wholesome breakfast or cake and pie preparations.
